In our recent community gathering with Kazu Haga, he reminded us that nonviolence is not softness—it is strength with direction.
He spoke of a sacred balance:
✋🏽 One hand refuses to permit injustice.
🤲🏽 The other holds love, patience, and the possibility of transformation.

This is the courage of fierce vulnerability:
to stand firm in truth without abandoning compassion,
to resist harm without becoming the harm,
to intervene while still believing in the possibility of collective healing.
